When was the last time you sanitized and disinfected your phone? If the answer is never or a while ago it may be time for you to stop what you’re doing and take 5 minutes to do so. Just as our hands, our phones get tons of germs that can get us sick. In fact, some studies have demonstrated that our phones can be carriers of microbial life forms, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi. To keep your phone clean and prevent it from accumulating dirt you should follow these basic recommendations:

  1. Clean your phone often

How often are we talking about? Well that depends. We recommend you deep clean your phone at least twice a week to make sure it doesn’t accumulate bacteria. The same applies to any other electronic device you may have, such as a tablet. A great idea is to keep a few microfiber cloths handy at your desk at work or at home as a quick reminder to wipe away the grime on your screen.

  1. Use a microfiber cloth

Microfiber cloths are better than washcloths or paper towels when it comes to cleaning your screen because they are less likely to scratch it. First, turn off your phone, take out the case if you have one and gently wipe the screen and exterior of your phone with the microfiber cloth to remove all the dirt and grease.

  1. Clean it with a disinfecting wipe

After all the dirt is removed, it’s time to disinfect! For this step you can simply use a disinfecting wipe, but make sure it’s safe for electronic devices. Clean the exterior and the screen but do not
